Arboretum Volčji potok – 7 km distance from Domžale
Volčji Potok Arboretum is the most visited horticultural amenity in Slovenia. In the last few years it became famous for its spring flower shows. Kamnik – 10 km distance from Domžale
Medieval city Kamnik with its surroundings offers a varied selection of experiences for children, adolescents, young adults, couples as also for youths and families. Velika planina mountain – 15 km distant from Domžale
Only few kilometres from the town Kamnik is located the bottom station of the cable car to Velika planina, which takes you amongst the green pastures of the mountain plateau in the heart of the Kamnik Alps.  We recommend you to walk to the herdsmen's settlement and feel the simple way of the herdsmen's life, taste their dairy products and admire the unique architecture of the cottages which define Velika planina. Krvavec - 25 km distant from Domžale
Krvavec recreational centre is situated in municipality of Cerklje. The ski resort has 35km of well-maintained ski runs 1,450m – 1,971m above sea level, providing excellent conditions for skiing on natural and artificial snow. The rich additional package includes a ski school, rental and service of ski equipment, a polygon for beginners and a children’s playground, and thus attracts and delights beginners.
